Abid is a member of the Scrum Alliance, a global network of over 1.8 million professionals. The Scrum Alliance is a non-profit organisation whose mission is to “Transform the World of Work”. They are the first, the largest and most widely-recognized Scrum and Agile Development certifying body in the world. .

bid has a Bachelor’s Mechatronics Engineering degree from the University of Waterloo in Canada and a Bachelor’s of Education degree from the University of Toronto.

Out of 200 Certified Scrum Trainers (CST) globally, the Scrum Alliance recognises Abid as one of only 9 Certified Enterprise Coaches (CEC) in the United Kingdom who have demonstrated coaching success across the enterprise from executives to delivery teams. Of those 9 CEC’s in the UK, Abid is the only coach who not only teaches but still actively practices Agile Software Development. He is a member of the Software Craftsmanship community, hosting and facilitating code retreats.
